About Zack
Zack Ridenoure was born and raised in a small town in Arkansas in 1985. He grew up the second son of in a family of four loving creative activities finding different ways to express himself at every age.
When Zack was in college at the University of Arkansas at Fayetteville he majored in General Art until moving towards is passion for the fashion industry and declaring Apparel Studies as his new direction. He moved to Dallas, Texas in 2010 to pursue his career in visual merchandising and styling. In 2013 he relocated to New York, New York to continue his professional experience and live out a dream. After years of finding no fulfillment in his profession, Zack began writing his first book Fruit of the Spirit: The Testimony of a Gay Christian.
Zack began writing as a young adult as a way to connect his observations of daily life and overarching thoughts of the world together and deliver them to his peers. His professional background as a stylist gives him a stylistic approach to his literary presentations and an eye for detail that adds depth and purpose to his story telling.
Zack’s experience as a Christian and a member of the LGBTQ+ community has greatly influenced his writings. After almost two decades of working in the fashion and retail industry, he has now moved into a new career direction towards theology and psychotherapy. Zack relocated to Boston in 2025 and is now pursuing a master’s degree in divinity at the School of Theology at Boston University. He is also in the process of writing his second book, a follow up to the 2024 freshman publication Fruit of the Spirit to be released by the end of 2026.
